With multiple brands under the Canalta name, consistency is crucial and their previous property management system struggled to achieve that goal.

SynXis Property Manager provides the top-down enforcement of branding standards Canalta was looking for; along with customizable features for each hotel enabling consistent service levels across all hotels. Staff is also able to support any property without additional training of different systems.

Impact to revenue

With disparate and unreliable systems, it was difficult for Canalta to create an effective revenue management strategy. Each property managed their systems separately without remote or real time access to the systems at the enterprise level. With SynXis Property Manager, Canalta is now able to distribute availability, rates and inventory between the Property Management and Central Reservation systems without disruption in service and therefore can positively impact revenue.

With SynXis Property Manager as a cloud based system, Canalta no longer has capital expenditure or outdated systems to maintain, thus lowering their hardware and IT support costs.

Integrated, reliable and human support

Canalta has achieved an increase in efficiency since switching. Hotel staff time is no longer consumed in managing offline or fragmented systems within their properties and with headquarters. Implementation and training, as well as day-to-day access to the system, are much easier with SynXis Property Manager’s user-friendly interface. Hotel staff is trained faster and supported with live access to Sabre Hospitality Customer Care.

Third-party interfaces

The SynXis Property Manager interfaces with leading solutions allowing hotels the ability to leverage the technology of their current providers. Canalta will soon two-way integrate SynXis Property Manager to the SynXis Central Reservation and the booking engine.

The certified two-way integration between the SynXis Property Manager and the SynXis Central Reservation includes reservation delivery, as well as synchronization of inventory, rates and stay controls. The certified two-way integration ensures one true source of inventory between the two systems.

As a centralized system, the SynXis Property Manager has improved and enhanced key areas of corporate, brand and management reporting and administration, allowing Canalta to provide Legendary Hospitality for their guests.
